Because each letter is handstamped, there will be slight variations in the depth & alignment of each letter - which is the nature of handstamped jewellery, but also part of the charm!
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
ALUMINUM
Aluminum is an excellent jewellery choice since it is nickel-free & hypoallergenic. It won't tarnish, and is water safe. Plus, aluminum is so lightweight, this skinny cuff is excellent for stacking! One beautiful thing about aluminum is that it doesn't tarnish and is water safe! Aluminum may become dull or dirty but it can easily be washed by very gently washing it between your hands with a mild soap, or polished with an aluminum safe polishing pad for jewellery. It will not discolor your skin. While aluminum is water safe, avoid prolonged contact with water as this may remove the black fill in the hand-stamped text or designs.
COPPER
Copper is a gorgeous metal for jewellery. For our bracelets, we use pure, untreated copper to get the maximum personality out of this beautiful versatile metal. Since the copper is untreated, it will change colour over time developing a beautiful natural patina. This patina is coveted by many, so feel free to leave as is for that stunning rustic chic look. If you prefer more of a rose gold look, copper can always be easily shined up again using most jewellery cloths (just make sure it's safe for copper!) or even environmentally friendly DIY copper cleaners right from your kitchen! (I'm talking things like soy sauce, vinegar and salt, baking soda, lemon or even ketchup - exactly how to clean can be easily googled, or feel free to send us a message anytime). Due to the nature of pure copper, some people get a bit of green on their skin where they wear their jewellery. Don't fret! This is perfectly normal and harmless. Some people use copper specifically because it turns their skin green as it can sometimes be an indication of your body's acidity. For obvious reasons, the copper cuff is NOT intended for those with copper allergies.
BRASS
Brass is another gorgeous metal for jewellery. For our bracelets, we use pure, untreated brass to get the maximum personality out of this beautiful versatile metal. Since the brass is untreated, it will change colour over time developing a beautiful natural patina. This patina is coveted by many, so feel free to leave as is for that stunning rustic chic look. If you prefer more of a shiny gold look, brass can always be easily shined up again using most jewellery cloths or polishing pads (just make sure it's safe for brass!) or even environmentally friendly DIY brass cleaners right from your kitchen! (I'm talking things like soy sauce, vinegar and salt, baking soda, lemon or even ketchup - exactly how to clean can be easily googled, or feel free to send us a message anytime). Due to the nature of pure brass, some people get a bit of green on their skin where they wear their jewellery. Don't fret! This is perfectly normal and harmless. Please care for your jewelry as you would any jewellery piece as it can be scratched or misshapen. While bracelets are adjustable, be gentle when putting it on as gradual wear and tear by over stretching or over bending may cause it to break. If you do get some tiny/ minor scratches, it can be polished to look like new again. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
